Acompany who has an empty building asked us to create an art gallery in it; this Thurday (dec 22nd) we will open it with a small opening party (no dance music, sorry!) but more for corporate kind of people: we aim this time to sell art – made by talented people we know- to companies.
Underground art is often motivated by industrial, urban spaces where social rules are bent, broken or modified by people who find contentment existing out of “the system”. In many ways is where creativity freely resides. Where one can be an individual or a part of a collective without judgment. The witty surfaces of this modern urban world shine with all the color and light that money can’t buy.

Look anywhere: larger-than-life billboards and mass-produced poster boards blare down from every building, telling us whom to trust, what to want, and how to get it. Walk down the street and the airbrushed propaganda walks apace, or passes by on the side of a bus, a train, a taxi, a pair of pants. The aim of this retrospect is to assist a handful of talented artists that create and are influenced by underground societies. Their work has been formatted to professional standards and during this exhibition we aspire to observe what place it occupies in a conventional modern environment: the office setting, the corporate board room, the executive lounge. Assisted by sponsors of commercial space and furniture designers, we create a setting where both worlds meet and we invite you to cherish with us.
