We would like to thank you who came over and helped us to create together with us our fantastic house warming party
Beautiful area, music, weather and people while playing outdoors just surrounded by industrial heritage of an old paint factory. We had the polite people at 23:00 but they never came back for stopping us so we pulled the plug ourselves after going on for 22 hours non-stop, letting fantasy sound taking over somewhere else.
Great thing was also that after this party we ended up with two working toilets with running water because our building was squatted without any since it was stripped by some copper thieves while it was empty.
Many of you also visited the hat-maker’s atelier on top or made friend with our three friendly ducks that hang around all day. Maybe we see each other again here some day ?

Such an extreme nice vibe, lots of people, good music, and again the sunny 360 panorama… Thanks to everybody who did come and join us!
Last set, DJ Nilis was able to play music that really matched the happy vibe and was let to continue beyond the 9:00 PM moment (that the license says) and create his own ending and played another track at 9:20 PM.
Sound quality was extreme good and loud.

We had the polite people over at 3 AM, wanting us to show them the party, calling their superiors and wanting us to STOP at 4:00 AM.
We did not intended to send you people home, but worked out a simple but sinister plan: we asked you to remove all cars from the road so it would look like we stopped the party, and our friend (and hero) HAS (legalize.net) posted himself 3 km down the road as our police look-out.
At approx. 4:20 AM his warning came in, so we had a few minutes left to close down the party for a short time.
These polite people were totally convinced and quickly on their way again, leaving us to party further!
At the end (12:00 PM) Jim and Lan went on till the polite people came again 9 hours later.

hrb1.com is an internet radio station we have been friends with since 2004. We organized a killer benefit party in nov. 2004, which was a great succes although polite people with ME let us stop at 4:00 AM.
For many of the (over 1000) people this was something not to forget… and they asked us to repeat it!
This time we found a legal place which can be open until late in the morning (the amount of -sets makes illegal venues very difficult)
The three live sets rocked our party as never before with the typical German prgressive trance, in the middle we had Akira Indika with a crazy wicked full-on set so every music taste was present this time.
An beautifull decorated chill-out was upstairs where KIKA had her chai-shop and very groovy chill out music was presented by various deejays.

We squated the same area as 2004 and 2005, setup our ‘anti- detection precousions’, and blowed you all sky high for the greatest part of the night.
Many of you came over to join us, bringing little cute presents for dr.ik (because it was his Birth day).
It is so cool to look back on an event of this size where absolutely no bad vibe or negative side effect is being experienced: everything went smoothly, you guys parked well, helped us cleaning, -and above all- made the whole vibe as it was: most of the night everybody was dancing here in this cool remote outdoor location on very cool tunes produced by Dj’s as PolyEsta, Stella Nutella, Psychic Om, Rob da Rich and dj ions.
The hot and humid air was making us sweat, but a light breeze easily cooled us down, not to mention the ice cold drinks we were able to serve you.
A very cool performance was done by one of the invited guests, called PYROMANCER. (check pyromancer.nl )This professional fire-artist also performed spontaneous at Zirkumstances in March 2004, something that many of us will remember.
We stopped -just as planned- at 10 AM but let the chill out have some music while we were breaking down the main floor. DJ Bliep was playing a progressive mix of Rob da Rich when suddenly the polite peoploe showed up… They were pretty okay and let us continue what were doing off course…

On a remote spot just outside the city boundaries we landed on a levy in the middle of nature and setup our DJ booth, a few hundred meters further than our old LINE26 location
Slowly over the day, many many hippies finally found us and joined us in this very early summer dance on the most coolest progressive beats produced by deejays ions, Bart, Yucka, Tintal and Tameesh.
The extreme nice vibe let some of us create totems (tralalama), bringing sunflowers, produce bubbles (Flumo) or just bring good news like the Diemen polite people who let us go on till dusk….
We all enjoyed the beauty of nature, nice weather and psytrance music, it was clear that this was the outdoor weather we were all been waiting for..

Very busy visited free event right under the Museumplein, behind the RijksMuseum, in a underground-touringcar parking garage. This location was arranged with co-operation of the owner QPARK and RijksMuseum (electricity) because before the party we facilitate a local political party (Amsterdam Anders/ De Groenen) with their new year- reception. I started in a freezing place, but after a live band there were 200 people, slowly building up to over a thousand (many more than we expected) and at the end the temperature was very okay..!
At 22:00 we started mellow with world music (DJ Poly EstA) and after 0:30 Dj Steven HC continued all the way to 3:00 AM.
After party was (free also) in Paradiso, where DJ ions played on the main-stage until 5:00 for a full house.

Actually the exact place as we did last year(s) and where we were removed with six ME busses in 2004.
This time we did it better concerning the polite people, also because now the chance that people walk through the tram tunnel was very very little: the tram line was operational and people would take it to come our place.
In the middle of the night another soundsystem of organisation UFO came over to join us, since thay planned their after very near us, and it would be better to join on a hidden place like ours.
We continued untill 11:15 when polite people came over at the exact moment we wanted to stop.

on a friday night we started with this 20hr. party in the middle of nature..
We choose to build up on a field next to a new road and bridge (not in use yet) just outside the dyke, so we were pretty sure not to disturbe anyone.
The night was wonderfull , a little campfire could give the necesary temperatures for the people who did not dance…
Our resident decorator Zem114 created a wonderfull chimny system together with a smoking machine, which was weird on an outdoor party.
The next day saturday was extremely warm but okey because thre was a lot of wind.

Our first apearance with our brand new soundsystem! This little outdoor gathering was organized by the beautifull spring weather. The new sound kicks ass, the bass is very deep and performs very good for up to 400 ppl we think. The police wwas friendly until some complains reached them, and they ordered us to stop. We continued with extreme low sound but when they came back,dr.ik became detained and ended up with 125EUR of fines. very nice was it that some of the party people raised money for us as a donation.

Finding a legal venue in Amsterdam for an all-nighter is impossible. finally we found the Akhnaton which is open until 5 AM. party in a squatted 2000 sq.mtr computercentre.

Short Zirkuit took place in a building that was specially squatted for this event and this was a very unique location.
A 2000 sq. meters building that seemed it had been a computer or data warehousing facility. The rooms of the building were the perfect size, it also had some peculiar qualities: a heightened floor where we put additional lighting and deko, and double walls, it was like a building inside a building.
That was really good for sound but not sooo good for ventilation. Although there was a proper AC system, it just could not handle the huge amount of people, leaving the place very hot and for what we have been told… very sexy! The heat did not destroy the extreme good vibe which was created by our deejays .

The location was kind of unreachable for police and security because most of roads were under construction.

Birthday party out of hand? During building we had a blizzard flying over us, destroying our stuff… 500 ppl came to this kick ass outdoor location in Zeeburg. until the police of a’dam Noord spoiled it with ME, dog-brigades etc. Turned out that some visitors took a tram tunnel instead of a bridge …: In these times of terrorism tunnels are closely guarded.
After the stop we had the honour to be guest of friend over in Houthaven area (West) were we got the chance to end around 14:00.

Also benefit for our participation of the protest streetrave earlier that day: to pay the truck, driver, soundsystem and other equipment.
We started this event in a tunnel in Sloten at 20:00, right fter ME wiped the Papaverweg-area clean. Polite people came at 23:00 and ordered us to stop. Neverteless we continued until 01:00 (with around 500 ppl) , when they came back (very irritated, with pepperspray ready to use) , we appologized and moved moved the whole party to Sloterdyk /Amerikahavenweg where around 300 people came. Here we could continue untill 14:00.
All the time the reggea sound system (from Medemblik) and their friend were with us.

Legalize Streetrave

Although Zirk is a non-political organisation, we participated in a protest streetrave in Amsterdam, called LEGALIZE!.
Legalize aims to change the drug policies and provide adequate education about drugs.
We rented a soundsystem plus truck and made deco specially for it. The streetrave went all the way to Amsterdam N, through the IJ-tunnel (incl. 12000 people) and ended in a big area where all other soundsystems made their own party.
Unfortunately, after 4 hours, the area had to cleared by local police men after some hooligan fights appeared at the hard-house area.

Around 250 ppl came on this sunny spot: the viaduct was transformed to a fluo disco with our new JBL speakers and colour lights. Our huge sail was used for sound isolation.
Police stopped us at midnight after one hour of talking with us.

Since our miserable failure (Qday after) the day before which was prevented by policemen, we had the urge to do it quickly successfully, just to gain confidence in ourselvers.
We planned this under the highway, but arrived there we found another little techno party instead, so we camped 50m further as completely outdoor.
The night was perfect: not cold, slamming soundsystem, good bar, very good Deejays and approx. 130 people came untill 9:30 when local police stopped us. later , during cleaning, other officials gave us a ticket for illegal parcing in a park…

Tunnel under the A10 highway. 300 ppl made the place not cold. 1 hour after the start we had police to stop us, but we managed to continue for over an hour, giving us the time to find another place.
We got asilum in the Amstel Squat just 4 minutes away, were 250 ppl had a wonderfull time until 13:00.

The most coolest dress up halloween Trance party , in Amsterdam, DiscJockies played as never before, we had the impression that the whole night was filled with good music and vibes. There was a small entrance fee here but it was free for all who came dressed up in a halloween outfit.We could treat you with lollypops and free smartdrugs, and gave out prices for best and worst outfit.

At 2:15 , during the marvelous set of Stella Nutella, we had to stop the music and clear the building. Amazing was the magic hat for sqautter Eelke in prison, were we found 412 euro, making his prison time nine weeks shorter!!

Can’t believe they let us get away with it..This party in a bikers-tunnel on a rainy night makes even Samothraki festival visitors feel they have missed something..A great success, we rocked the tunnel from Sat, 23:00 till Sun 12:00 with approx. 400 happy jumping people, many more than we expected because of Samothraki festival (greeche), Ruigoord, Lowlands and Uitmarkt which was all at the same time.

The Deejays let the crowd not stand still for a second.
A five minute long heavy shower outside made our feet get wet at the dance floor, which was at the lowest point. Police (with dog-brigade) came check us out, but since there was not any complaint and we had two fire exits, they let us conitnue for this single time… We cleaned the place good and were gone in 1.5 hours..

A rainy Saturday night gives the opportunity to make music in extra-ordinairy places… This location and idea was formed when Zirk discovered the tunnel the same morning.. One car for power, one bakfiets for the bar and shop, plus La.Nebuleuse as DJ. In no time was the tunnel transformed to a beautiful place and we rocked until 4:30 AM. The 50 visitors were mostly people who discovered us when walking in the street, no other promotion was made.

We left place cleaner than we found it, like it should be. Great help was the shovel so even the mobile toilet is brought back in its place.
