our last hemelvaart event was exciting: 8 hours, from 16:00 untill midnight we rocked the viaduct at the oudekerkerplas, under the A9 highway.
This viaduct was far too wide: wind p[ayed with us all the time. Our huge sail kept the sound away from farms, and behind, it was cosy and warm.
No locals complained, but nevertheless the Diemer-police found us (and recoqnized us from the diemerbos party) . This time we were a little more agressive, but in a way they couldnt just stop us: no complains, no road blocking and we totally cleaned the place allready from glass. (we even talked with some farmers who might have sound complains, gave our phone nr. etc.) so we were pretty convinced of the ‘legalness’ of the event: We told them (bluffing) that we had less than 150 people, a number which has been earlier used for a minimum amount of people for something to call it a house party.
The officers started to doubt: called in some male collegues, who called in their boss, who called in the chief of staff, who called the major out bed!
The major talked with the district attorny.
In the meantime we managed to have the party going in for another hour… at midnight the attorny came: shaking hands, etc. etc. he explained us that the reason to stop us, is mostly the fact that we were under a highway, dangerous situations could occer when people would walk over it, or would start a campfire with a lot of smoke.
We gave the head-officer the ‘honour’ to stop the party and shake hand with the DJ: a lousy, but cool ending…
And we all slept happily ever after.
