Our dearest friend, collaborator , electrician,sound and lighting engineer Bart (DB) has been found dead last sunday sept. 11th, after being missing for 5 days.
Overwhelmed by feelings of deep sadness and loss but also gratefulness for having him so close to us for many years and what he gave us all…
All our sympathy goes to the people and friends that were close to Bart.
If there is an afterlife, we hope that Bart is preparing a killer sound system there for us for when we arrive.
, he was the glue that hold us all together. I am afraid to say that the real Zirk really died with him last week.
What’s left is a bunch of beautiful memories of unbelievable cool events that were done by a collective of really talented and inspired people which created a synergy that you all must have experienced during the many Zirk parties that were created.
We really think that achieving such a thing as described is out of the question ,because without our beloved Bart, there is no one that sweat, kind and talented as he was.
For sure there will be crazy parties, hopefully more than you even hope. and many with the equipment that he owned…..
