Wow, an eXtreme birthday was this Zirque du Soleil event , we the squated the same place as last year for this , and it worked! A little more in the back, fences covered with black sheets, not revealing the two dancefloors, 200-300 ppl and over 60 parked cars (!) in the front… At the very last moment we decided to have also a chill-out area, since the property was big enough… Blieb (producer and DJ) seemed to be a real improvisor and turned his car into a DJ-booth… together with sheets, mattrasses cushions and other Zirk deco he created the cosiest chill out area!
Kika came along to do her chai-shop, and we ere able to build a simple bar with even cold drinks.
The night started quite chilly with the northern wind, but around 01:00 Am the wind died and we had a beautifull clear night full with stars, and the enviromental deco -the sinus shaped bridge- of IJ-burg, was the centre of our party.
No police intervention untill 11:00 Am, at the exact moment we wanted to switch of the sound.. how unlucky!
The night before was really crazy and full with happy vibes, and even another soundsystem what drove right through our dancefloor to make their party in the back of our place: the Blue Room Soundsystem, for the people of UFO… really interesting effect because they brought also their housepartypeople with them.
Little problem was that their soundsystem made quite a lot of heavy base, so that at the end the polite people came complaining.
We had errie herrie, Mars, Dogo, Vinnie, Lunatic, Cosmic High, Riches, Zentaur, Steven HC LIftShift and Avi (isr.) spinning their records.
we hope that everybody had a good party just as dirk did.
